Pregnancy exercise class

Inspire Health Services runs an integrated pregnancy exercise class with floor based and reformer exercises and utilises various props including bands, fitness circles and weights. The sessions are aimed to assist expecting mothers with mobility, strength, pelvic floor awareness and adapt and support postural changes throughout pregnancy. All exercises can be modified by the health practitioner including for any pelvic girdle pain.

You will need clearance from your doctor and to attend an initial pelvic health physiotherapy appointment to help assist with any modifications you may need prior to commencing your pregnancy exercise classes.

Mums and Bubs class

A 1-hour floor based mums and bubs class runs twice a week at Inspire Health Services using a variety of equipment including foam rollers, weights, bands and fitness circles for strength, mobility, balance and pelvic floor awareness postpartum. Bubs from newborn to 12 months old are welcome to attend and can be involved in some of the exercises. You can commence classes after your 6-week doctor review and clearance, and a postnatal pelvic health physiotherapy review to help tailor any exercise modifications prior to class.
