COVID-19 Update

INSPIRE HEALTH STATEMENT 

 

As I am sure you are aware the government has issued a closure notice to all gyms. 

Inspire Health is an Allied Health facility and will trade as normal for the time being until further clarification is found on what government recommendations are for Allied Health practices containing Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Dietetics. 

Our hygiene practices and cleaning protocols remain firmly in place. We will continue to strictly clean our facility within two-hour windows until advised otherwise. 

We are also ready to ensure we are following social distancing and enforcing government guidelines. 

Thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times, we look forward to continuing to support you with your health and wellbeing.

 

Your Health is important to us & is our upmost priority.

We will continue to keep updated with all the recommendations from the Queensland Government and World Health Organization (WHO) in regards to COVID-19 and will update you where necessary accordingly.

We ask that if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms that you do refrain from attending the centre and we will do the same. No staff will attend work with any symptoms, and you will be notified if your practitioner is unable to attend due to this.

TELEHEALTH

Services are available at Inspire Health Services.  This is an online consultation that allows you to have a consultation with your Exercise Physiologist, Dietitian or Physiotherapist via an online platform. 

Whilst we are continuing to lobby with our governing bodies to gain rebates, for eg, medicare, DVA, private health, these consultations are still available from our practitioners.

For existing patients only, please contact our reception on (07) 3846 5134 to enquire about a Telehealth consultation or contact your practitioner.  

In Clinic Hygiene & Cleanliness:

At Inspire Health we are continuing to maintain the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness in our centre. We have added regular hourly cleaning schedules and are following strict hygiene standards.

Further to this:

  • Disinfectant Wipesare available throughout the centre and are being used on all equipment between each client along with regular hourly cleaning of all surfaces, this includes door handles and benchtops. 
  • Hand Sanitiseris available throughout the Centre and we encourage everyone who enters to use this on entry and exit. 

 

New Sunday Trading:

As part of this health commitment, Inspire Health would like to announce we will be open for business on Sundays starting immediately. There will be appointments made available for practitioners across all of our modalities. 

These are by special request and will be prioritised for the following clients; 

  • Populations at high risk of complications to COVID-19  
  • Clients who request access to a quieter training or treatment environment 
  • We will be operating under strict policies inline with the governments social isolation policies. 

 

These rules will include;

  • A maximum of 4 practitioners running exercise sessions and physio at one time
  • A 2m distance rule to apply 
  • Sessions will allow for 15min post for a thorough clean by the practitioner

 

Infection Control Training Module – Australian Government Department of Health

In accordance with the Australian Government Department of Health all Inspire staff, practitioners and supporting staff have completed the Infection Control Training Module – COVID-19 to further educate ourselves on the implications and precautions needed to navigate through COVID-19.

Car Park Meeting Point

If you prefer to not sit in the Inspire Health Services waiting room, we have made arrangements to ensure that you can remain outside of the building or in your vehicle. We kindly ask that when you arrive to please give us a call to let us know you have arrived and when the practitioner is ready they will come out and get you for your session.

How you can help

We ask you to assist us in keeping the highest standards. After a class we will guide you through the process of cleaning the equipment you have used eg. Reformers, head cushions, mats, weights, bikes etc 

All clients attending classes or sessions in the gym MUST bring a Towel otherwise you will not be able to train.

We then remind you to not only wipe down the equipment with your towel but also with the disinfectant wipes that are available.
